Zinnias are easily one of my favorite cut flowers. They are simple to grow and come in a vibrant array of colors. The more you cut, the more you'll get, so with very little fuss you can have these gorgeous blooms all summer. Somehow I didn't realize that the variety I planted this year would turn out to be so small. I was rather disappointed at first, but I have a few small vases which turned out to be just the right size to make cute little arrangements. Millie keeps snatching them to put in her room. And really, who could blame her?
