We were out most of the morning, so today was actually a half day without diapers. And we probably had an equal number of hits and misses. It's a funny process. I'm all proud of myself when I catch Isaac's cues, but then sometimes I just miss it completely (usually when I'm sitting at the computer!). The most important thing, though, is that Isaac's bottom looks much, much better.
But this diaper-free thing certainly takes up a lot of brain energy. Newborns pee a lot, about every 10 to 20 minutes. And maybe over time catching his cues would become more second-nature and wouldn't require quite so much of my thought process? I don't know. But I am tempted to try again tomorrow, just to see how it goes.
