It seems that this pregnancy is going to fit the description of being "unpredictable", as is often said of third pregnancies. At this point it looks like I'll be carrying this baby until my due date or longer, while Millie and Silas both arrived before their due dates.
So with these circumstances in mind, I had to laugh when I turned to the Elisabeth Elliot quote on my calendar for today:
"Anything worth having is worth waiting for. Troubles are permitted in order to teach us many lessons, not the least of which is patience."
Today I'm thankful for God's grace as I learn to be patient.
