Millie's Flowers

During trips to the garden center this past spring, I could hardly resist letting Millie pick out some flowers to plant. They've done quite well up to this point, which is always nice when gardening with children, since those little plants become "theirs".

I wasn't too sure about these pansies as it was awfully chilly when we first put them out, but they're looking very nice these days.


And these impatiens came later. I was also concerned about them because this spot gets some early afternoon sun, which I hadn't really realized when we first planted them. But they've really flourished.
